What you are buying, and the terms it comes on.
Plain words, because the arrangement is simple: you pay for access to the news API, and either side can end it. Last revised 11 October 2026.
Who sells this.
Aurith is a business based in Ontario, Canada, owned by Dilraj Singh Girn as a sole proprietorship. It plans to offer several services; today it offers one, the Aurith News API, and these terms cover it. "Aurith", "we" and "us" mean the business; "you" means whoever holds the subscription.
The business name "Aurith" is not yet registered. When it is, these terms will be updated to name the registered business.

Access to the Aurith News API.
An account includes up to three API keys. All its keys share one plan
and one rate limit. The keys read articles from api.aurith.ca at the rate
and from the sources the plan allows. Prices are on
Services:
- Basic Business & markets from every region, in English only, at 10 requests a minute. Articles are released three times a day, at 9:00, 14:30 and 19:30 Toronto time.
- Starter The public-record business sources — US federal agencies, SEC filings and the Federal Reserve — in all five languages, live, at 30 requests a minute.
- Full Everything: every category, region and language, plus anything added later, live, at 120 requests a minute.
- Pick your own Choose packs (one category in one region) and extra languages; English is included. The rate is 60 requests a minute. Adding a pack or language is charged at once, prorated to renewal; removing one takes effect at renewal. See Refunds.
The list of sources is on Sources. It changes: a feed can be added, and a feed can be switched off, including at a publisher's request. A subscription is to the service as it stands, not to any one source in it.
Yours to use. Not yours to resell.
- Use the articles in your own products Show them, store them, build on them. Keep the publisher credit that comes with each item. This holds while your subscription is paid: articles received in a period whose payment was refunded must be deleted.
- The key is yours alone It belongs to the subscriber and is not to be shared, published or passed to anyone else. Up to three keys may be issued to the subscriber's account.
- No competing feed You may not resell or redistribute the raw feed as a news feed or API of your own.
Machine-written, and not advice.
Every article is written by software, from public reporting, quickly. That is the product, and it is also its limit: an article can be wrong — a figure misread, a name mistaken, a sense lost in translation. Check anything that matters against the publisher, who is named on every item.
Nothing Aurith publishes is financial advice. It reports what happened, never what to do about it. No article is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, and any decision you make with it is yours.
The "Ask Aurith" assistant on the site is AI; its answers can be wrong and do not change these terms or the refund policy.
As it is, and as available.
The service is provided as it is. There is no promise that it will be uninterrupted, complete, on time, or free of errors.
Aurith is new software. Expect outages, delays and errors — possibly more often than with an established service — while it matures. There is no uptime guarantee and no service credit for downtime. When there is an outage, an email goes to the address on every active account, and another when the service is back. Outage emails are a courtesy: a missing or late one is not a breach of these terms.
To the extent the law allows, Aurith's total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and Aurith is not liable for financial losses, lost profit or any indirect loss. Nothing here limits a right that the law says cannot be limited.
It renews until you cancel it.
Payment is taken by Stripe. A subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly as you chose, and Stripe charges the card it holds at the start of each period until you cancel.
Cancel from your account page under Plan &
billing → Card & invoices, or send GET /v1/portal with your key to
get the Stripe customer portal link. No notice period, nothing to email. Access runs
to the end of the period already paid for. Ask within 5 days of any payment for a full
refund; duplicate or mistaken purchases are refunded within 30 days; refunds are counted
per person, and after a third the next payments are not refunded. Refunds are paid on
Fridays: asked by Thursday noon (Toronto time), paid that Friday; later, the next. See Refunds. You can change plan any time; upgrades are charged now
and downgrades take effect at renewal. After a change only the change is refundable, by
undoing it within 5 days from your account page; the payment before it is not.
It follows the subscription.
- A renewal fails The key keeps working while Stripe retries the card. Fix the card and nothing changes.
- Stripe gives up on the payment The key is revoked. Pay the outstanding invoice and the same key comes back on — there is no need to buy again.
- The subscription ends Cancelled by you, or ended for non-payment: the key is revoked.
- A chargeback is opened The key is revoked the moment the dispute is, and nothing Stripe does afterwards restores it. A payment already refunded cannot also be disputed. Write to us.
- These terms are broken A shared key, a resold feed, or use that harms the service can have the key revoked.
Use the key as it was issued.
Rates are 10 requests a minute for Basic, 30 for Starter,
120 for Full, and 60 for Pick your own, measured over a sliding minute.
Up to three keys per account share one rate limit; do not get around it with extra
accounts. Over the limit, the API answers 429 with a
Retry-After; honour it. Do not probe or load-test the service, and do not use it for anything
unlawful. If you need a higher rate, ask.
If these terms move, you are told.
When this page changes, the date at the top changes. New subscriptions start on the terms in force on the day they begin. If you already subscribe, a material change applies to you only after an email to the address on the account at least 30 days before it takes effect; keep using the key after that and the new terms apply, or cancel if you would rather not.
Ontario, Canada.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute is for the courts of that province.
One address.
hello@aurith.ca for anything on this page, and api@aurith.ca for the API itself. Either reaches Aurith.
